Alex Cosovanu is Vice President of Infrastructure at PBX Engineering, leading the Municipal Utilities, Transportation, Buildings, and Industrial business units. He guides operational excellence and long-term strategy for these divisions while mentoring teams to deliver innovative electrical engineering solutions across public infrastructure, sustainable buildings, transportation corridors, and industrial facilities.

Mr. Cosovanu is a proactive and strategic thinker, excelling in power distribution and control systems, systems analysis, infrastructure assessment, accurate cost estimates, requirements definition, and technical specifications. His experience spans power‑distribution and control systems, substation and EV‑charging design, and bridge, tunnel, and marine‑terminal infrastructure. His portfolio covers industrial, municipal, and transportation facilities, including water‑ and wastewater‑plant power, backup‑generator and UPS systems, and complex lighting installations. A recognized subject‑matter expert for ports, marine terminals, bridges, and tunnels, Mr. Cosovanu has led multiple large, multidisciplinary projects to successful completion both domestically and abroad.
