

Amy Hunter is Transportation Portfolio Strategy Lead at PBX Engineering, overseeing business development, project delivery, and client relationships for projects spanning roadway lighting, intersection signalization, and intelligent transportation systems. She manages engagements with provincial and federal transportation departments, municipal traffic agencies, and transit authorities along with the numerous partners that PBX works with to support transportation projects across Canada.
Mrs. Hunter specializes in the design and installation of traffic control devices, roadway and area lighting, ITS, smart cities, and LED retrofits. She also possesses valuable experience in managing aging infrastructure, public realm lighting design, and applying CPTED principles in lighting design. Registered in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Yukon, she is involved in all aspects of project design, tendering, construction supervision, and commissioning. She provides technical leadership for the design, testing, implementation, and project management of a variety of traffic engineering and electrical systems. In addition, Mrs. Hunter is President of the BC Section of the International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA).
